FICTIONAL ARCHITECTURE
The Unprecedented series depict unreal scenarios and unlikely architectural feats. They are escapist landscapes with dwellings and they highlight the extremes we embody, from islands of perfect isolation (but with all mod-cons) to the blissful ignorance of the consequences of wanting more. Building these desirable yet improbable habitats with maps on canvas lends an air of credibility or documentative reality to what you see. While being metaphors for contemporary life, they are also simply fictional fun and you can see what you want to see in them.
