Taking familiar architectural elements, or a building vocabulary we know, and skewing things. These works explore combinations, interventions, manipulations – as architects do. I’m also interested in the aesthetics of fragmentation and hybridisation, and the truths or stories (depending on your interpretation) that can still shine through.
The Irrealities series (2016-17) combined cut up architectural features from various historic houses.
